Urban Designs were commissioned to design a scheme after previous proposals had been refused planning permission on the grounds of design.
Our vision was to have the appearance of a large country house, and within this envelope we continued the theme by creating additional apartments in the form of a coach house style.
The success of the scheme was achieved by retaining the visual mass of the building, utilising space within deep roof pitches and introducing three-storey elements to break up long elevations.
