Lichfield

The centrepiece of a large scale development on the outskirts of Lichfield. Urban Designs were instructed to design this phase of the development including apartment blocks and elevational treatments for dwellings to follow a design code already laid out by the Local Authority.

Much of the site fronted a pedestrian walkway across the development with views of Lichfield Cathedral.

The dwellings were designed to allow vehicular access from the rear whilst maintaining principal elevations onto the pedestrian accessed frontage.

The centrepiece of the scheme was occupied by a bespoke four-storey apartment block and three-storey town houses, all designed with parapet walls and box gutters, forming a focal point at the heart of the scheme.

The finished phase integrates into the overall development.
